PROJECT – DIGITAL KGA

Dear KGA Members:

To improve our departmental efficiency, improve transparency, accounting, and financial dashboards, KGA’s Information Technology (IT) Sub-Committee is pleased to announce that it has embarked on a project called Digital KGA. The objective is to enable KGA to function more effectively and efficiently by revamping our entire Information Technology infrastructure and applications. This is also in line with the recommendations of the Systems and Procedures Committee, the Report of which was approved by the General Body in Jun 2022.

To ensure dedicated focus and execution, we need to hire an IT Consultant who can help KGA upgrade our entire Information Technology platform. The objectives of the proposed consultancy engagement are:

Phase I Requirements, Gap assessment and RFP: OCT 2022 to JAN 2023

• Study and document the existing IT infrastructure and current disparate applications (including detailed functionalities) that are presently being used by KGA
• Understand and documenting our golf club processes expected, the key issues and imperatives
• Prepare a comprehensive IT Blueprint and Roadmap to address all requirements with one integrated solution/ platform
• Propose and recommend alternative solutions/platforms and solution providers, systems integrators and to manage infrastructure/ cloud service providers
• Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) and interacting with alternative solution providers to obtain proposals for turnkey solutions and ongoing maintenance / support
• Assist KGA in evaluating alternative solution providers

Phase II Vendor Selection with Phased Implementation: FEB 2023 to FEB 2024

• Project Management of implementation of chosen solution including transitioning from existing platform.
• Vendor management of existing platform till transition is completed
• Vendor management and user interface on ongoing basis post transition

We request our KGA members to introduce us to individuals or organisations who could be candidates for this consultancy engagement. Interested candidates could connect with “Hon.Secretary KGA’ <secretary@old.kga.in>” and submit their credentials by 15 SEP 22. Obviously, knowledge of golfing would be a critical pre-requisite. Please note that the Consultant/ Consulting Organisation will not be considered as a potential solution provider / implementer and should not have any affiliations to potential solution providers.
